KBF Inc. started its journey in 2015, when Tafazzal Chowdhury recognized the need for superior-quality food products within his own and neighboring South Asian communities. Drawing inspiration from his knowledge of the food industry and his own passion and responsibility for a sustainable and superior-quality food system, Mr. Chowdhury partnered up with the top Bangladeshi supermarket businesses to start supplying grocery dry foods, hence, leading to the formation of KBF Inc.
Located in the heart of Astoria, New York, KBF Inc. is one of the leading wholesale dry-food distributors amongst the South Asian communities, supplying mainly grocery products such as, rice, lentils, spices, snack items, beverages, condiments and more. Although KBF began serving primarily in the NY tri-state area, upon receiving outstanding partnering manufacturers’ and customer feedback, and realizing the need for premium-quality food products outside of the current realm, KBF quickly expanded to serve the East Coast region and California.
Six years later, KBF Inc. distributes over a thousand different products, and reserves exclusive distributorship rights to leading Bangladeshi brands like Banoful, Kiswan, and Teer to just name a few.
